Inside: how to embellish pocket mini album pages
When you go somewhere do you always take your purse? I have to admit I'm kind of lazy that way. Because when I go somewhere close or for a short time I prefer putting some things in my pockets and don't take my purse at all. That's why all my pants have pockets. So do all my jackets and coats, so this way I can stick my phone, keys and credit card in them and go!
Pockets are very useful not only in pants but in mini albums too. They serve the same purpose of adding extra space for things. In this case more photos and journaling cards.
POCKET MINI ALBUM
Pocket mini album come in all shapes and sizes and you can make them in any size. It's an album that has pocket pages, which means that all or most the pages have a space to insert things.
There are two ways to make a pocket page:
- Make the pocket page from scratch by folding a cardstock and attach to the cover
- Use an envelope, which is already a pocket and attach it as a page to the mini album
You can also make a one sheet mini album pocket book which has the pages and cover made as one unit.
This pocket mini album has envelope pages that are bare and I wanted to show you how to embellish pocket pages and add interactive mechanisms to them.

HOW TO EMBELLISH THE POCKET PAGES
You know me, I'm an interactive nut, so of course I couldn't resist adding some interactive mechanisms to this mini album too. The mechanisms are easy to create but they add a lot of space to the mini album and allows you more room to add photos and journaling. Besides all these interactive surprises make the mini album so much more interesting and fun!
