One Page Wonder Interactive Mini Album

Hi dear crafty friends! Today I want to share my farewell project for the Graphic 45 design team: One Page Wonder Interactive Mini Album. I had a lot of fun creating it and before you ask for a tutorial I promise to make one for you.     One Page Wonder Interactive Mini Album As a final project, I wanted to create something that is really me. This project is me in all sorts of ways. First, it’s a one-page wonder project which you know I love. It features one of my all-time favorite collection: Steampunk Debutante. It has an interactive mechanism in it and it utilizes a lot of leftovers, which is something I always challenge myself to do.           The mini album was created from one 12×12 black cardstock. I then covered its pages with the pattern paper and added the flaps and pockets. The binding is a really simple binding with a ribbon. It was hard to capture all the details in this mini …

Farewell to Graphic 45

Hi dear crafty friends! It is with great sadness that I say Farewell to Graphic 45. After two amazing years my term as DT member is over! I want to share with you a few highlights of my journey…     Farewell to Graphic 45 As you remember The acceptance process was not so easy. I had to audition for the design team and submit four different projects including a tutorial. Wow… this was so scary. Every project that I thought of didn’t seem enough but time was running out and I had to make a decision. So finally I decided on these four projects:     Remember these? If you want to see more photos and tutorials then click HERE. I couldn’t believe that I passed the first selection! The next step was to create a project with a video tutorial. I decided to do a pop up book that apparently was a great hit and I got into …

An exploding box with four different interactive mechanisms like an envelope, accordion mini album, mini book and pocket AND a complete mini album…all in one project!     Is it a Mini Album? Is it a Box? It’s Both! This project is the combination of two things I really love creating: mini albums and interactive projects. This project has it all! How to Create a Tunnel Book with Graphic 45

Hi dear crafty friends! Now that my two year term as a Graphic 45 Grand Ambassador is almost coming to an end I went over all the projects I made and realized there are some I didn’t share here. One of them is How to Create a Tunnel Book with Graphic 45.     How to Create a Tunnel Book with Graphic 45 But first a few words on tunnel books… Tunnel books are made up of a series of pages that are held together by folded strips of paper on each side. In fact, the sides of a tunnel book might make you think of an accordion. The overall effect of a tunnel book is to create the illusion of depth and perspective.       I created this book with the Enchanted Forest collection. Since it’s full of castles, princesses and all things fairy tales I thought it would be great to create a story in a box, …

One Page Box with Fussy Cut Embellishments

Hi dear crafty friends! You know how i love creating projects from only one sheet of paper. So today I’m sharing my new project: One Page Box with Fussy Cut Embellishments. It’s so easy to make you’ll be amazed!     One Page Box with Fussy Cut Embellishments For this project, I used the amazing Nature Sketchbook collection. It has so many beautiful images that I could cut out and use as embellishments on my little box. I layered the images and added chipboard underneath some of them to add extra dimension.       If you don’t have Nature Sketchbook papers don’t worry, because this project will be great with any papers you have. As long as you have images to fussy cut, you can create this box with any paper collection! When fussy cutting, use sharp scissors. Instead of turning the scissors while you cut, turn the paper. That’ll make the cutting faster and more accurate. It would be …
