Washi Tape Binding Mini Album Tutorial

Hi dear crafty friends! I often get asked about binding mini albums. There are lots of ways to bind a mini album and today I want to share with you a Washi Tape Binding Mini Album Tutorial. This binding technique is great for small mini albums that don’t have a lot of pages and are not too bulky. All you need for this binding technique is a wide washi tape and some cardstock.     Washi Tape Binding Mini Album Tutorial When you create a mini album you usually create the mini album first and then bind it allowing it room to expand. This is necessary for photos and journaling and of course interactive mechanisms. In this album we do the same however the spacers we insert to allow room for the album to expand are not necessary.  This method of binding is the most basic method there is and can be applied with larger albums. If you do bind …

Paper Fall Wreath Tutorial

Hi dear crafty friends! Fall is on its way, finally, and I want to share with you a Paper Fall Wreath Tutorial. This project will look really beautiful on your wall, the front door or any other place you’ll want to hang it. This fall wreath is so easy to make you will not believe it!   Paper Fall Wreath Tutorial I’m a winter person, so I’m really happy when fall arrives because it means that winter is not far behind. Here we don’t have the tradition of decorating the front door with a wreath on any occasion. But I decided to decorate my studio door with this wreath so I’ll have a constant reminder that my favorite season is around the corner. Let’s get started… 1.  Cut chipboard into a circle. Decide the size of circle to match your hanging location. The circle doesn’t have to be very accurate. 2. Punch 3 flowers. 3. Cut flowers according to photo: 1) (left) …

Easy Paper Projects with Graphic 45

Hi dear crafty friends! This month I had to create Easy Paper Projects with Graphic 45 papers. Not all G45 projects have to be complicated with lots of steps. You can create fun, fast and easy projects too!     Easy Paper Projects with Graphic 45 My first project is an easy and fast adjustable vacation notebook. This project is perfect for all your vacation memories and it even has a special envelope for things like tickets, brochures and other memorabilia you want to keep. All you need to create this project is pieces of papers, tags, envelope and a binding machine. I used a Bind-it-All but any other binding method would do. If you don’t have something like that then just bind it with a ring or two.       My second project is also fun and easy: ATC’s with the new Master Detective collection. I found out that ATC’s are really fun to make and it’s even …

Water Colors Tags with Stamps and Fussy Cutting Tutorial

Hi dear crafty friends! Today I’m sharing the Water Colors Tags with Stamps and Fussy Cutting Tutorial I made as my first post as Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador. I know I’ve already told you how excited I am about it. Being a design team member for a second year is a dream come true!     Water Colors Tags with Stamps and Fussy Cutting Tutorial In this project I decided to explore water colors with the Graphic 45 stamps. I used water colors before but this time I wanted to see if I could use them to create a background for the tags. The Voyage Beneath the Sea papers match the sea water look of the water colors on the tags perfectly. I have a very modest set of water colors but that didn’t matter because I blended a few colors together to create more colors. After all the sea has so many colors of blue and green in it …

Capture the Moment Card with Sizzix

Hi dear crafty friends! Today I want to share with you a new project. Capture the Moment Card with Sizzix. This is my first DT project for Sizzix. I’m really excited to share it with you!      Capture the Moment Card with Sizzix It was kind of strange for me to create a project that is based on paper only after creating many mixed media and art journaling projects. But it felt good to return to the basics and just play with paper. Don’t worry I plan to create some mixed media projects with Sizzix die cuts too. After all their Bigz dies can cut chipboard like butter. That would be a lot of fun to add them to a canvas or a box.           I created this card by layering pieces of paper with chipboard so they’ll have a little height and them added flowers that were all created with Sizzix dies. At first …

Roses Treasure Box with Graphic 45

Hi crafty friends! Today I want to share with you my Roses Treasure Box with Graphic 45. This is the last post as a DT member before I start my new Graphic 45 path as an ambassador for 2017-2018. This project looks much more complicated than it really is and you can make it too with no problems at all.     Roses Treasure Box with Graphic 45 The box is made with the technique I’ve already shared with you before HERE. The post also has a step by step video tutorial to make it even easier for you. So all you need is to follow these instructions and build the two parts of the box.       The embellishments on top of the box also look much harder than they really are. All I did was cut flowers and the frame from the amazing Portarit of a Lady and attach them to the lid of the box. I …
