Water Colors Tags with Stamps and Fussy Cutting Tutorial

Hi dear crafty friends! Today I’m sharing the Water Colors Tags with Stamps and Fussy Cutting Tutorial I made as my first post as Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador. I know I’ve already told you how excited I am about it. Being a design team member for a second year is a dream come true!     Water Colors Tags with Stamps and Fussy Cutting Tutorial In this project I decided to explore water colors with the Graphic 45 stamps. I used water colors before but this time I wanted to see if I could use them to create a background for the tags. The Voyage Beneath the Sea papers match the sea water look of the water colors on the tags perfectly. I have a very modest set of water colors but that didn’t matter because I blended a few colors together to create more colors. After all the sea has so many colors of blue and green in it …

Capture the Moment Card with Sizzix

Hi dear crafty friends! Today I want to share with you a new project. Capture the Moment Card with Sizzix. This is my first DT project for Sizzix. I’m really excited to share it with you!      Capture the Moment Card with Sizzix It was kind of strange for me to create a project that is based on paper only after creating many mixed media and art journaling projects. But it felt good to return to the basics and just play with paper. Don’t worry I plan to create some mixed media projects with Sizzix die cuts too. After all their Bigz dies can cut chipboard like butter. That would be a lot of fun to add them to a canvas or a box.           I created this card by layering pieces of paper with chipboard so they’ll have a little height and them added flowers that were all created with Sizzix dies. At first …

Roses Treasure Box with Graphic 45

Hi crafty friends! Today I want to share with you my Roses Treasure Box with Graphic 45. This is the last post as a DT member before I start my new Graphic 45 path as an ambassador for 2017-2018. This project looks much more complicated than it really is and you can make it too with no problems at all.     Roses Treasure Box with Graphic 45 The box is made with the technique I’ve already shared with you before HERE. The post also has a step by step video tutorial to make it even easier for you. So all you need is to follow these instructions and build the two parts of the box.       The embellishments on top of the box also look much harder than they really are. All I did was cut flowers and the frame from the amazing Portarit of a Lady and attach them to the lid of the box. I …

Halloween, The Skeleton, and The Wardrobe

Do you know the movie: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe? I just love this movie. The entire vibe of the magic, the monsters and of course the witch reminds me of Halloween. So when I thought of a name for this project I immediately thought of: Halloween, The Skeleton, and The Wardrobe (even though it’s technically a closet and not a wardrobe). This Halloween project is so much fun. This magical wardrobe is filled with potion books, bottles and all things witchcraft and it’s all made from paper!     Halloween, The Skeleton, and The Wardrobe The wardrobe is made of black foam board and has a sliding door that opens and reveals all the goodies inside. Of course it can fit lots of embellishments and mini books with photos. I made two but the shelves are large enough to fit many photo mini albums for years to come. I used the amazing Graphic 45 rare Oddities collection. …

Graphic 45 Fall and Halloween

This month on Graphic 45 Fall and Halloween I have two sneak peeks for you. I had to create two assignments this month one for fall and one for Halloween. Not only did I have a lot of fun creating these projects but I enjoy the fact I have to challenge myself to create fun and unique projects. I have to say that working with papers you love sure makes that so much easier 🙂     Graphic 45 Fall and Halloween The fall project is a project you can create under 60 minutes! Yes, it’s not only fast it’s also affordable and easy to make. I love the fall first the weather is getting colder and I can feel the winter at the end of the tunnel.
