Vintage Nature Mini Album

Hi dear crafty friends! Today I want to share with you a new mini album I created. It is called: Vintage Nature Mini Album. This mini album is constructed in a special way and it is made with special papers too. Keep reading to find out more!     Vintage Nature Mini Album The mini album is constructed in such a way that there is no binding needed. There is only a cover that is made from the same paper as the album. The entire mini album is built from a thick white cardstock. Water color paper will work well too. The idea is to combine a few papers and make the album look like an envelope that opens and opens. You will not need any additional supplies to create this mini album other than the white cardstock and the Vintage Nature paper collection.     Did I mention it’s completely downloadable? How to Create an Interactive File Folder for a Mini Album

Hi dear crafty friends! Today I want to share with you How to Create an Interactive File Folder for a Mini Album. File folders are super fun and make any mini album look really professional and unique. It’s also a great way to add more space for photos and journaling. Each side of the suitcase has a different file folder with lots of space for photos and journaling. I created the suitcase mini album in the themes of travels …

How to Create an Art Journal Page with Texture

Hi dear crafty friends! Today I want to share with you How to Create an Art Journal Page with Texture. I get a lot of questions about texture in art journaling. The problem with art journaling is that unlike a canvas you can’t really add very bold texture or you will not be able to close your journal. However, having said that, you absolutely can and should add texture to your pages!     How to Create an Art Journal Page with Texture First I want to explain the term texture. Contrary to what you might think there are TWO types of texture: texture you can feel with your fingers or tactile texture and the other kind is visual texture, the texture you can see with your eyes. Most of the texture we add to art journaling pages is visual: patterns of all kinds, layers of color, images and bold shapes. However, it is possible to add tactile texture too, …

The Best Way to Add a Flap to a Page

Hi dear friends! Today I want to share with you The Best Way to Add a Flap to a Page. There are other ways of course but this is my favorite way to do this and I think it’s also the easiest and fastest way too.     The Best Way to Add a Flap to a Page To create the page you’ll need three pieces of cardstock: The base page, the back ground page and the page for the flap. First decide the size of the base page. The background page should be slightly smaller than the base, about 1/8″ smaller. Finally the size of the flap should be wider than the background page but the same height. Here’s the video tutorial with all the measurements and the complete process. This page is the first page of 15 pages that are part of an interactive mini album in The Ultimate Interactive Mini Album Series. The series includes 6 full step …
