Zippers…more than you thought
The hottest trend these days is mixed media. It’s basically a form of creation that combines different medias in one creation. The fun thing about it is that anyone can give it their own interpretation, meaning mix the materials they like. Here’s a mixed media layout mixing scrapbooking papers and sewing zippers. I rarely create a layout about myself but this one seemed appropriate. This layout was created before zippers were in fashion and you could find zippers heads with printed words on them. I got them from a sewing store one day and decided to finally use them. I created the flowers by twisting the zipper in a spiral and adhering it with hot glue.The leafs were also created from zippers. Have fun creating! Einat
