Inside: the new free junk journal ephemera to use
If you are constantly looking for new papers and materials for your junk journals than you are in the right place. I want to tell you about an exciting new resource for getting free papers and embellishments for junk journaling.
WHAT IS A JUNK JOURNAL
There is no one definition of a junk journal and they can vary from person to person however there is one main thing that is common to all junk journals: they are all made from a mix of found and recycled materials. They are called junk journals because they are usually books or journals made from the paper “junk”, scraps and leftovers we don’t use. You can see how to make them in this tutorial.
You can use:
- Scrapbook papers
- Tissue papers
- Old book pages
- Magazines pages
- Notebook pages
- Envelopes
- Ephemera items

WHAT ABOUT OTHER JUNK JOURNAL EPHEMERA MATERIALS
However, in recent years there is a new trend in the junk journal ephemera world: printables. These designed digital papers and embellishments can be downloaded and printed and then added to a junk journal. There are even ready made kits to construct an entire journal from start to finish.
So now, people are making junk journals from materials that are not junk or leftovers.
NEW EPHEMERA PRINTABLE RESOURCE
I love sharing my work with you all, so I decided to create a free junk journal resource that you can use in your projects.
This new resource is called PAPER PERKS and it is completely!
It is free and has three parts:
1. YOUTUBE VIDEO
A few times a month I will post a new video tutorial teaching a junk journal project. This could be about making an inserts or embellishments, constructing a mini journal, creating cardsor tags and more. All projects will be made with a junk journal ephemera printable of my own design that you can download and print. Check out my YT channel and subscribe to be notified when I upload a new video.
2. FACEBOOK GROUP
In order to download the weekly printable you will need to join the FB group and download the pdf file. The group will feature only the last 15 printables (FB limit, not mine). Over time and if you are not on FB you’ll be able to get the printables on my Ko-fi gallery. The FB group will also have tips, tricks and other fun posts about the projects and printables and of course you’ll be able to share your junk journal projects there.
3. PRINTABLES
All printables are designed on a 8.5″ x 11″ paper, but can also be printed on A4 papers.
Each printable is for personal use and not to reproduce or sell. You can use them as supplies to create other projects for sale.
I really hope you’d like this new junk journal adventure!
Sharing is caring – PIN IT!
Have fun creating!
