Maximize your supplies: elements on paper

It’s not easy scrapbooking with a tight budget and in this day and age everybody tries to save some money. We don’t have to stop buying products, just find new ways to maximize the products that we have or buy. Here is one idea on how to do just that.

This is a layout with the materials from My Punch’s October’s Kit of the Month Club. The paper I used for this layout is by Webster’s Pages. I wanted to embellish my layout with some butterflies. So instead of using stickers or cut-outs I used the butterflies that were already on the paper.
I cut each butterfly’s wings and left the centre uncut. This way I could lift up the wings and give them a little dimension.
I adhered a piece of paper under each butterfly to cover the hole and secured the wings with 3D foam tape. Then added a few embellishments and a title and my layout was ready.

Have fun creating!
