DCC – Handmade with LOVE

Hi crafters! It’s the first Monday of the month and we are hopping again with all my Designer Craft Connection friends! This time I created a mini album that is not only created with love but is all about love.   This cute little mini is all about pockets and hidden treasures. Each page is actually a pocket that hides a tag inside. A tag for secret loving messages or any other message you want to write.   For more amazing projects, just click on the DCC button on the right hand side of my blog.   Have fun creating! Einat

Start by stamping and embossing a background paper and then mist it with Glimmer mist. 2. Stamp Susan K. Weckesser house stamp, my favorite stamp!, on paper and cut it out. 3. Add bricks with a mask and distress ink. 4. Created the snow on the roof with Mica …

DCC Blog Hop – Vacation, and the Summer Contest winner!

It’s time for another inspirational hop with all the talented designers from the Designer Craft Connection. The July theme is vacation and do we have some fabulous projects to share! My layout is all about a vacation under water in the Red Sea Observatory. A magical world of beautiful colorful fish, corals and all kinds of sea creatures. My kids could not stop going around the place and checking every widow. They were following the fish as they swam around us and examined each and every coral and plant. For them it was one big wonder! Make sure to keep hoping and visit the designer’s blogs. All you need to do is click on the DCC button on the right side of my blog. I didn’t forget our lucky winner of the Summer Contest. And the winner is…. Congratulations Erin! Thanks everyone for joining and sharing your beautiful summer projects. Have fun creating! Einat

Designer Craft Connection – Summer Picnics

Hey dear friends! It’s the first Monday of the month and it’s time to go hoping with all the talented designers at the Designer Craft Connection. Our theme this month is summer picnics and I have a picnic layout with some fun techniques. Whenever we go on a picnic my son loves to bring a book and just sit down quietly and read. This time was no different! I’ve used some fun techniques in this layout: Creating a tree – if you want a tree but you don’t have one ready, simply make one yourself. Cut the tree from brown cardstock or paper and add leaves. The leaves can be anything you want or have: buttons, flowers, rub- ons etc. since I created this layout for My Punch’s Kit of the month Club I had to use what was available on the kit. Adding colors to letter stickers – I had some green AC stickers but I wanted to dim …

Family Day Blog Hop

Today I take part in a special blog hop with eight talented Israeli designers in celebration of Family Day. The blog hop is sponsored by My Punch which is also giving all of you a chance to win a great prize. Each of the eight designers was given an element to include in her design. My element is: Key. I created an altered book titled: The key to happiness. Other than being an object for opening locks and doors, the key has metaphorical meaning. It can open our hearts, our minds and our happiness. Each one has a different key to their happiness, my key is my children. Their smile opens my heart, their laughter unlocks my anger and their hugs melt my soul. They make me happy when I’m sad, they make me smile when I’m down and they bring me joy by simply being who they are. The blog hop starts on Wed Feb 22nd and ends on …

You and Me – Creative Journaling – DCC Blog Hop

What a better way to open the new year then a creative inspiring blog hop with my designer friends from the Designer Craft Connection! This month our theme is journaling. The magic of words, a collection of letters telling a story, a memory, a feeling. My creation is a layout with a very special photo: a photo of my mom and my aunt when they were little girls. This layout is part of a birthday scrapbook I’m making for my mom’s 60th birthday. It’s going to be a unique scrapbook because all the journaling is going to be  written by different family members. Each layout will have the story from the point of view of the person in the photo. For example: my boys will write the journaling on the layouts showing their photos, with all their feelings, experiences, memories and love for their grandmother. The journaling on this layout is going to be written by my aunt, her sister. The layout has a …
