Saturday MIXTRAVAGANZA – Scene layout

One of my favorite layouts to create is a scene layout. What’s a scene layout you ask…well, this is a type of layout that basically presents a scene on the paper. A few important things you need to know in order to create a scene layout:1. Cut the images from the photo or use cut outs. The purpose of that is that the image will blend in the scene without the background of the photo. 2. Create a story and/or place for the scene. For example: in the garden, on the beach, through the window etc. 3. Arrange the scene in a logical order. That means you have to make sure you have soil, flowers, trees, sand etc. on the bottom of the page and butterflies, birds, clouds or sky on the top of the page. 4. We are all so busy in our daily lives. No wonder we forget the little things we need to do. I have found a great solution…create a bulletin board to hang our notes so we won’t forget! I’m so happy and excited to share the second project in the Saturday MIXTRAVAGANZA series. This bulletin board is made from canvas and embellished with cute birds sitting on a wire and in the tree.
